Pitbull will no longer be performing in Bangkok this May 25, according to a statement from concert organizers BEC-TERO Entertainment this morning.

The American rapper had been slated to take the stage at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani as part of his Climate Change tour of Asia.

BEC-TERO's statement says the tour has been canceled "due to reasons beyond our control. The artist deeply apologizes to his supportive fans and hopes to come to Asia in the future."

Refunds will be available from ThaiTicketMajor branches from May 13-Jun 13.

Pitbull, or Armando Christian Perez, is an American rapper best known for hits like "Timber," "Rain Over Me" and "I Know You Want Me." He previously performed in Bangkok in 2011 and 2015.

In related news, fellow US rapper Nelly's Bangkok concert has been postponed from May 17 to Jun 13, while Britney Spears has announced a second show on Jun 23, one day before her sold-out concert.
