Can you tell us about your upcoming album?
My next album is called Only One Rida, I look forward to it droppin’ before the summer, I had a great time working with David Guetta. Been working with Akon as well.

A lot of artists love to work with you, you’ve done many collaborations. Are there any artists you want to work with?
I’m a big fan of Outkast, Andre 3000, Big Boi, and certainly Beyonce. I got a chance to watch her perform while I was on tour with her in Australia and she is amazing. So I’d like to work with her and I’d like to show my continued love for music with all artists worldwide.

Tonight, what can we expect?
You know, its goin’ down. I brought some of my colleagues, I brought my DJ, and I’m looking forward to giving it my all. It will be something that you will alway remember, and you will definitely want me to come back to Bangkok. After landing here, there was great hospitality and I’m really glad that I made it here.

So you’ve done a lot of collaborations, and you’ve been touring all around asia. Have you thought about collaborating with Thai artists?
We have some talented artists sitting right here. I’ll definitely take your word for it. I’m an international artist. If I can expose myself to other artists, I’d like to. I think music is a great connection.

After seeing The Hangover 2, has your short stay here matched the perception you have after watching the movie?
I just landed but, in some ways, yeah.

For our Thai fans who have never visited America, can you tell us a little about the Florida/ Flo-Rida connection?
You come to Florida and its tons of fun, you know there’s lots of beaches and beauty in Miami. Beautiful women, beautiful beaches, you cant go wrong.

How has your experience touring around Asia been? What’s your perception
of the Asian hip-hop scene?

It’s been very influential and everything. I’ve been goin to the clubs and they love to party like never before. I’m always happy to be around that scene.

So you mention you’ve been working with David Guetta. Are we seeing a convergence of electronica and hip hop in the future?
Definitely, I’m a guy who likes to broaden my horizons. And getting a chance to work with David Guetta, and being the first guy to actually work with him was great and now a lot more people are being influenced by the music.

And lastly, iPhone or BB?
I got both.

Catch Flo Rida live tonight (Jun 11) at Route 66, RCA.
