DANCE: Escape, Compagnie Deuxieme Vague 

French choreographer Nathanael Marie leads a multicultural company of six dancers in a performance bridging Thai and Swiss cultures.

This edition of the library's monthly book club discusses the works of the American author who is best known for books like Black Water, What I Lived For and Blonde.

Friday (May 26)

NIGHTLIFE: Phazz

The French DJ, whose tracks have been featured on Youtube's Majestic Casual playlists, brings his unique blend of hip-hop and electronica to Bangkok for the first time. He'll be supported by DJ Bunnyman and DJs Noxro and Kade in the Dalmation room.

NIGHTLIFE: The Streets Raised Me

For one night only, the bar-slash-gallery holds a curated night of street culture, featuring a pop-up clothing store, a screening of a skate art film from the early '90s dubbed "Sk8 Tape," and quality audio and visual mixes.

NIGHTLIFE: The Swingkings Big Boy Band 

The popular big band made up of brass and wind players host a night of live swing and easy-listening jazz music with an after party from Bangkok Invaders' DJ Bixzexy.

THEATER: BCT Fringe Festival

An informal night of live theater featuring 8 separate short plays and experimental scenes from first time performers and old timers in the Bangkok Community Theatre group.

The popular clothes market returns, this time promising everything from accessories to swimwear from over 160 local brands, all set up in a huge air-conditioned dome.

GIGS: Jameson on the Rock

A night of live music from De Flamingo, Chanudom, Brown Flying, Arak and The Pisat Band. Dress code is "rock never dies".

ART: Inside the Soul

 Praween Piangchoompu uses graphic arts depicting objects in empty rooms to capture a state of mental peacefulness.

GIGS: Jazz Happens presents Rasmee x Sri Trat 

The popular Isan soul singer performs live at a stylish new boutique residence, accompanied by delicious food selections from the new Eastern Thai restaurant.

WORKSHOPS: Tea Blending Workshop

A hands-on class all about tea brewing, tea tasting, pairing tea with food, tea blending and tea mocktail creation, suitable for tea-lovers of all experiences. The class will be conducted in Thai and English.
