Harmonica's Last Show 'You Were Here'

First Cosmic Café closed, now Harmonica is calling it a day. This Saturday (Jul 19) the tiny venue, which has hosted inter acts like Deerhoof and Ponytail’s Dustin Wong, plus every local indie act worth your while, will bid farewell with arguably its biggest ever gathering. Come pay your respects at the nostalgic farewell party You Were Here, where homegrown bands like Aire, Wednesday and Degaruda will make sure it’s a memorable sign-off. We’ll miss you, Harmonica!

Experimental Video Art Exhibition (EVA Project)

It’s been 10 years since the annual Experimental Video Art Exhibition (EVA Project) started to bring together young artists from both Thailand and Europe. Now at the BACC, the exhibition will sum up its decade by showcasing the previous works of over 90 artists, including Orawan Arunrak, Gerald Zahn, Natnaran Bualoy and Menno Aden.
 
This Saturday (Jul 19, 1-5pm), lecturer and artist Jun Yang will give a talk  "Revolution! Art as social change or just a powerless decoration?" as part of the exhitibition.

The launch of the new Risograph book featuring a range of works from 26 artists and writers, including Miti Ruangkritya, Withit Chanthamarit, Unchalee Anantawat and Nuch Lertwongweerachai, will be held at The Jam Facotory, where attendants can pick up a copy and discuss the prospect of community-driven, not-for-profit press publishing and art projects.
