Bangkok Underground Film Festival, the film festival that focuses on providing a platform for independent, emerging filmmakers, returns for the second year this November as a collaboration between Speedy Grandma art space and Jam bar, with support from Museum Siam and Panda Records.

Made up of multiple screening events between Nov 19-Dec 4, the festival showcases works from both local and international filmmakers across a variety of genres including documentary, drama, video art, animation, experimental, feature film and more.

From now through Oct 31, the festival is accepting submissions (shorts under 20 minutes, feature films and video art) for consideration. Submit your films to bangkokundergroudncinema@gmail.com or in person at Jam (Charoen Rat Soi 1 BTS Surasak). Selected submissions will then be screened at Noise Market 6 (Nov 19-20), Bridge Art Space (Nov 24-Dec 4), Jam (Nov 25-Dec 4) and one more venue yet to be announced.
