Last night, a packed auditorium (we had to sit on the stairs) were treated to the premier screening of director Uruphong Raksasad's Agrarian Utopia. Check out our review to find out exactly why this visually stunning tale of rice farmers struggling to survive is definitely worth watching.
The film is due for its official release on Sep 2 at SFX Emporium with daily screenings at 7pm and additional screenings at 2pm on weekends.
It's part of the ongoing Director’s Screen Project. Organized by film production company Extra Virgin. The project sees screenings of three new Thai indie films Mundane History, Agrarian Utopia and the short film Phuket which is due to open Sep 30.
