Bangkok’s heavy-rock scene has enjoyed a purple patch in recent years, and this five-piece have been an ever-present force.

Drawn from their Brew Heart album, Ugoslabier’s latest single, “Minute of Minutes,” is a slab of American-influenced post-hardcore that’ll appease fans of Glassjaw or Everytime I Die.

Over caterwauling guitars, frontman Paul Solis first wails and then growls about relationship woes. The result is an intense yet melodic style of hardcore you can sing along to—even if the lyrics devolve into teen diary strangeness (“Don't beg for God as he is not around, you're neither a slave worth waiting before it's found,” he screams convincingly enough).
