This small urban art gallery is a part of the Plus Project store, a lifestyle boutique featuring brands such as Fuct, SSDD, DeMarcoLab, Grind London and Drifter USA. The space held its first art exhibition last month, to be followed next week with Inside Out, opening Nov 29 with beer, a barbecue and music by DJ Krit Morton.  

 

This small gallery started as a local art class studio with an exhibition space on its upper floor to display students’ work. Its first group exhibition, Drowse, just opened on Nov 14, and has already been getting a lot of buzz in the contemporary art scene. There’s no fixed exhibition calendar yet, but the owners are looking to provide a multi-disciplinary space for all forms of artwork. 

 

This retail art and design gallery moved from Convent Road earlier this year, and more recently underwent a name change from Kult Gallery to Toineinbangkok. It’s linked to the chic design specialist store on the ground floor of Sofitel So hotel, and exhibits work which represents the quirkier side of the Asian art scene. Their latest exhibition opened Nov 20, featuring the work of local artist Porporrina.
