It's finally come time to say farewell to Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), at least in its current guise.

Ahead of its move to Charoenkrung Road's Grand Postal Building, slated to open in April next year, the much-loved design library will say goodbye to its location on the fifth floor of the Emporium shopping mall at the end of October.

As a final farewell, the general public will have free access to TCDC at the Emporium until Oct 30—just register at the Info Guru counter by the entrance.

For the six-month period before TCDC opens on Charoenkrung, members will be able to access TCDC Commons (3/F, IDEO Q Chula-Samyan, 788 Rama 4 Rd.) without any additional fee. Here, the collection of books, magazines and materials is comparatively limited as it focuses solely on communication design, but members can still enjoy certain privileges such as laptop and headphones on loan and meeting room usage.

Some co-working spaces will also welcome TCDC members through the “Co-working Visa” program. Check back on the TCDC website for list of participating co-working spaces.

If you are planning to renew your membership or join TCDC Charoenkrung, do it before Oct 30 to get an extra one year added to your membership. For updates, see www.tcdc.or.th or www.facebook.com/tcdc.thailand.
