About the closest thing to a hill in Bangkok is the on-ramp from Charoen Rat Road onto Highway 1. But you wouldn’t know that if you were to read the names of this city’s latest developments: Ari Hills mixed-use development, Phra Khanong’s Summer Hill community mall and now now Ladphrao Hills, a 16-story project near Ladphrao intersection.

The 27,000-sq-meter project comes from the same developers as Ari Hills (Urban Capital), and will again comprise rental offices, retail space and a 190-room three star hotel managed by Taiwan’s Evergreen brand.

What to get excited about? This project may change the face of the area, moving attention from the overcrowded and uninspiring Central Ladphrao and cheap wholesale shops in Union Mall. Opening late ‘18.
