The mastermind behind the cult Facebook photo blog Humans of New York will visit Bangkok next week.

In a status update posted to the page today, the page’s admin Brandon Stanton writes he is also looking for an interpreter:

“I want to collect some stories for my next book. Looking for an interpreter to accompany me! In addition to English proficiency, the main requirement is that you're comfortable approaching strangers!” the post reads.

Stanton launched Humans of New York in late 2010, quickly shooting to internet fame for his portraits of strangers in New York, accompanies by their touching personal stories. In the past, he's also traveled to places like Iran and Pakistan.

Humans of New York now has over 18 million likes on Facebook, and has also expanded to a series of books as well as a show on the Facebook Watch video-on-demand service.
