The Adventure of YooDee by B-Floor (Mar 9)
Bring your niece or nephew to Pridi Banomyong as B-Floor Theatre troupe, though better known for its physical theater play and experimental leanings, is staging a play for children, The Adventure of Yoodee, which is about “being happy in a good environment.”  The performance is in 3 languages: Thai, English, and Japanese and available for two rounds: 2pm and 4pm. The entry is free; all they ask is your critical feeback to improve their show, which is soon to be performed in Japan. Social Enterprise Week finds its stride this weekend with two festivals that will delight bookworms and organic minds. The Green Shop Festival will teach you how to cook Jerusalem artichoke, make natural soaps and brew mint tea at organic shops aroundtown, while the Book for Change Festival sees four independent bookstores hold talks on writing that
critiques Thai literature and society.
 
Lovers of words and rhymes should check out this new open mic night, held under the theme “Get Lucky” at

FILM
Free screenings by two film festivals at The Emporium and Scala, Siam Square

Running for three days from Mar 7-9 at SFX Cienema Emporium, the Singapore Film Festival will show two films, ILILO and That Girl in Pinafore. With English and Thai subtitles. Screenings are free, with tickets available at the counter 30 minutes prior to showtime.

Also, held as part of the Social Enterprise Week Thailand, the Social Change Film Festival will screen five documentaries on Mar 9 at Scala, Siam Square. Free screenings with Thai subtitles.
