Mahamariamman Temple (Wat Khaek)

This temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Mariamman feels more like it belongs in India than downtown Bangkok.

Built during the 19th century by Tamil immigrants, it is of the main non-Buddhist places of worship in the capital, and houses numerous statues of Hindu gods and goddesses.
