BANGKOK RETAIL

Longines

Buzz: With over 180 years of watchmaking experience, Swiss brand Longines, known for its aviator watches, has just opened its flagship store in Siam Paragon.

Décor: The shop isn’t huge (38 sq meters, to be exact) but it does keep to a classy and sophisticated look with its clean white floor, warm lights and burnt brown counters.

Goods: Longines timepieces, from the latest collections to older releases and rare models. The watches are displayed at several counters, so there’s plenty to browse. Think famous models like the Primaluna from B38,600 and the Presence from B32,700, as well as rarer pieces like the Longines Master Collection from B55,400. The latest collection is Conquest Classic, inspired by horse racing in the late 1800s, which starts from B135,900. Wrist watches start from B25,000.

Why you’ll be back: The shop is the biggest of the lot in Thailand and carries more Longines models than any other. Nutthachai Bunluthangthum
