One of Bangkok’s favorite art weekends, The Hotel Art Fair, makes a roaring return on Jun 9-10 taking over the very chic 137 Pillars Bangkok hotel (Sukhumvit Soi 39, 02-079-7000). Since 2013 Farmgroup design consultancy firm has been taking over hotels across the city in collaboration with Bangkok’s top galleries.

This year’s participants list reads like a who’s who of the Thai art world: SAC Subhashok, Artist + Run, Kalwit Studio, Atta Gallery, Number 1, Pomme Chan, De’Lapae Art Space Narathiwat, and lots more. You’ll also want to stop by the rooms occupied by visiting forces from abroad like Joan Cornella, the Spanish whiz behind those black humor-laced six-panel comic strips, Malaysia’s g13 Gallery and Tokyo’s Clear Gallery.  Entry, as always, is free.
